APS Village

Plan your visit to the center of the exhibit hall to:

• Learn about publishing your work in the Physical Review journals
• Purchase APS-branded t-shirts and other physics merchandise
• Get involved with APS to grow the physics community
• Talk with APS staff about membership
• Relax or work in lounge spaces

Plus: don’t miss journals’ rubber ducks, a claw machine, and surprise giveaways.

SPARK Theater

New this year: Take a seat and watch SPARK presentations, combining an oral talk with the one-on-one interactivity of an ePoster presentation. These sessions foster in-depth interactions for physics research.

The theater will also host exhibitor innovation demos and APS Journals’ editor talks.

Hot Topics Hub

New this year: Talk in small-group roundtable discussions focused on timely scientific, industry, publishing, and innovation topics. You’ll exchange ideas, ask questions, and engage directly with experts and peers.

Poster presentations

The exhibit hall showcases research from students, postdocs, and other scientists seeking to share their cutting-edge findings with the physics community. The poster sessions are an opportunity to ask poster presenters questions and network with physicists investigating similar research questions.

Career Fair

Meet hiring employers to discuss a variety of career opportunities at all levels. Employers will be conducting on-site interviews and will be available for post-event conversations.

Graduate School Fair

Learn about graduate school opportunities by talking firsthand with representatives from leading institutions.

The graduate school fair is part of the Future of Physics Days (FPD) undergraduate events, which help students get the most out of the APS Global Physics Summit through interactive workshops, professional development activities, and career discovery.

District lounges

New this year: Five scientific districts will provide attendees with a home base to connect more deeply with their disciplinary communities while also encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration across the campus.

Within the exhibit hall, the Districts Lounge networking space will be available to connect with peers outside of the scientific sessions and make new connections.

• Stop by the Puppy Petting Lounge for some four-legged stress relief
