What’s new for 2025

APS traditionally hosts a separate March Meeting and April Meeting, with distinct physics disciplines represented in each event. In 2025, we are joining these two scientific meetings, allowing all physicists to learn from their area of focus and now participate in cross-disciplinary sessions.

For the APS Global Physics Summit, we intentionally aligned our programming with the officially United Nations-proclaimed 2025 International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. Join us for exciting celebratory and educational events!

Abstract submissions

Physicists submit over 10,000 research research abstracts each year on topics ranging from quantum physics to soft condensed matter to astrophysics to the latest in climate physics. APS Global Physics Summit presenters can choose to present in person or virtually. You must be an APS member or reciprocal society member to submit.

The call for abstracts is open September 9 - October 25, 2024.

Explore the campus

Three venues adjacent to one another — Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim Marriott, and Hilton Anaheim — make up the APS Global Physics Summit campus. Each venue will host distinct sessions represented by the traditional March Meeting and April Meeting disciplines, as well as APS units.

Cross-disciplinary sessions and networking events will take place in all three venues and in the outdoor plaza that connects them.

Registration will give attendees access to all venues.
