Discover the next step in your career at the Career Fair, taking place in person at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, April 12-15, 2027.

The APS Global Physics Summit Career Fair provides an opportunity for job seekers and employers to meet in person and discuss various physics job opportunities at all career levels.

Employers will be available to conduct on-site interviews and make connections for post-meeting conversations.

Attendees

Meet face-to-face with employers and recruiters from industry, national labs, and other institutions, who will be available to answer your career-related questions. Get a sense of what you can expect when attending the career fair and meeting employers:

  • Job postings and applications: Visit the APS Job Board to view all job postings online, apply for the jobs, and visit the career fair area on-site, where you can learn more about each recruiter.
  • Interviews: Employers will independently schedule and conduct interviews with job seekers. There will be a private interview space near the Career Fair area of the convention center.
  • Employer follow-up: If you’re registered for the event, employers will be able to contact you after the Career Fair. Upload your resume to the Job Board to increase your chances of getting hired!

Visit the Career Fair in the exhibit hall during these convenient times:

  • Monday, April 12, 6:45-8:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 13, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 14, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 15, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Career counseling at the Career Fair

Once again, at the Global Physics Summit, a career counseling and resume help desk will also be available in the Career Fair area at the Georgia World Congress Center. A student/job-seeker sign-up will be available in early March.
