Industry engagement opportunities
Position your organization as a thought leader in physics and share innovations in applied and industrial physics at the APS Global Physics Summit. This year's event provides a wealth of ways for industry-focused employers and organizations or companies to showcase non-academic career tracks and opportunities, including:
New for 2026: Table topics program
Connect with attendees and gain useful leads by co-hosting 45-minute, themed, small group discussions on rotating topics, positioning your institution as a thought leader. These discussions will include up to 15 round tables with 10 attendees each. This program will take place March 17-18, from 1-3 p.m. in the exhibit hall. Industry participation costs $500.
Industry Room Sessions
Present a session to showcase your organization's or company's innovations, share your expertise, and connect with physics students, professionals, and industry leaders by reserving an industry room session. A limited number of sessions are available, with tracks focused on general industry and entrepreneurship:
- The general industry track is focused on students seeking careers in industry, physicists curious about industry insights, and anyone exploring the intersection of science and business.
- The entrepreneurship track targets physicists seeking to make the transition from research to business, whether they are researchers and aspiring entrepreneurs or academics exploring industry partnerships and investors and innovators seeking tech opportunities.
Session room reservation is $2,000.
APS Topical Group on Energy Research and Applications (GERA) Workshop
Sponsor the 2026 APS GERA Energy Workshop on Sunday, March 15, and showcase your brand to over 100 researchers, students, and industry experts. This one-day program focuses on breakthroughs in fission, fusion, solar, wind, catalysis, and energy storage.
Student reception
Promote your brand to over 500 undergraduate physics students by sponsoring the Future of Physics Days (FPD) student reception. This high-energy, informal networking event combines food, drinks, and community building while offering students opportunities to present research, explore careers, and connect with leaders in science and industry. Sponsors gain direct access to emerging talent, align their brand with APS’s mission to support students, and receive recognition across FPD promotions, reception signage, and student programming. Flexible sponsorship options are available to fit a range of budgets:
- Student Champion sponsorship: $15,000
One available. This sponsorship package includes title recognition as an event co-sponsor, your logo on all FPD promotions, as well as spotlight and remarks at student events such as the student reception and undergraduate get-together. This package also includes the option to give one- to two-minute, noncommercial remarks, and two additional, complimentary exhibit passes, separate from the standard booth purchase. - Community Building sponsorship: $2,500
Three available. This sponsorship package includes a branded table topic station, recognition on the student reception signage and slides, and your logo featured on the "Thank you to our sponsors" section of the Future of Physics Days program page. - Student Supporter sponsorship: $1,200
With this sponsorship package, you may choose from two options: the Food and Beverage Station sponsor or the Student Drink Ticket sponsor. Showcase your logo on on-site signage, such as the food and drink stations and/or bar as well as on the reception welcome sign.
Add-on enhancements include:
