Virtual Presenter Instructions

Log in to the Speaker Console to present virtually.

Give your virtual presentation

Create connections

Presenters are asked to create a profile in the mobile app/virtual platform through the Speaker Console. This is a great opportunity to connect with attendees and further your research.

Virtual session presentations

The Bravura Speaker Console is your one-stop for your virtual presentation during the meeting. Complete these important steps:

On the day of your presentation, log in to the Speaker Console at least 30 minutes before your session. Select the appropriate session and then select the "Join Live Session" button. (We will not be able to test technology while other talks are being given.) The live session button will not be accessible until 30 minutes before the session.

The meeting organizers believe live interaction is best and request that you be available for questions and answers with the audience. If you cannot attend the session in person, you can request to be moved to an on-demand program by contacting the APS Abstract Help team by Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025. With an on-demand presentation, you will upload an MP4 video of your presentation to the Speaker Console by Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Review these Virtual Presentation Best Practices to help you prepare your live talk.

Virtual poster/ePoster presentations

Virtual poster presentations have an on-demand and live presentation component. Follow these simple steps to get full engagement with your research:

  • Register for the meeting to log in. (Please note: Your abstract and registration emails must match.)
  • Confirm the date and time of your poster session presentation in the Schedule or the Speaker Console.
  • Upload a one-page PDF of your poster and an optional brief MP4 video explaining your science to the Speaker Console by Thursday, March 13, 2025.
  • On the day of the presentation, go to the networking section of the virtual platform and participate in the live poster session. Sessions are named:
    • Virtual Poster Session 1 Discussion - Live
    • Virtual Poster Session 2 Discussion - Live
    • Virtual Poster Session 3 Discussion - Live
  • Each presenter will be given five minutes to present their scientific research and two minutes for Q&A.
  • If you cannot participate in the live presentation but still want to upload your poster, please contact the virtual meeting team by Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, so they can plan accordingly.

All posters uploaded by Thurs., March 13, 2025, will be viewable on searchable ePoster kiosks at the Summit. This expands the visibility of posters to the on-site audience.

Withdrawals

If you need to withdraw your submission, please email APS Meetings no later than Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, 5 p.m. ET.
