On-site childcare

Bring your infants and children to a safe, secure, and fun environment with licensed caretakers, available only to meeting registrants. Easily drop off and pick up your child in the convention center while you attend the meeting.

Pricing is per child and is available from March 17 to March 21.

• Weekly (total for 5 days): $675
• Half-day weekly rate (total for 5 days): $337.50
• Day rate: $135
• Half-day rate: $67

Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel your reservation, the cancellation request needs to be received by Plus One Meetings on or before Feb. 19, 2025, for the full refund. Cancellation requests received between Feb. 20-26 will be refunded at 50%. No refunds are available after Feb. 26, 2025.

Turn a few pre- or post-meeting days into a magical vacation. By purchasing a special Theme Park ticket and park reservation, you can explore incredible lands with your family and friends.

Tickets are available for purchase through Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Companions breakfast

Guests of meeting attendees are invited to a complimentary breakfast to meet other companions and learn about the city of Anaheim.

Family-friendly programming

Share your passion for physics with your family. While most APS Global Physics Summit programming requires a paid registration, we do have special events open to the public.

• Quantum Jubilee: Engaging performance, science demonstrations, and flash talks, showcasing the wonders of quantum physics.
• Squishy Science Sunday: Hands-on demonstrations of biophysics, polymers, soft matter, and statistical physics. Past demonstrations included playing with marine snow, soap bubbles, and bristlebots; making spaghetti and meatballs out of silly slime; and puzzling over the strange behavior of oobleck and sand.
• Public lecture: Time and location to be announced in February. Past public lectures spanned topics from sports and pop culture.
