Career Fair

Visit the Career Fair in the Exhibit Hall during several convenient times.

Discover the next step in your career at the Career Fair, taking place in person at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, March 17-20, 2025.

The APS Global Physics Summit Career Fair allows job seekers and employers to meet in-person to discuss a variety of physics job opportunities at all career levels.

Employers will be available to conduct on-site interviews and make connections for post-meeting conversations.

Attendees

Meet face-to-face with employers and recruiters from industry, national labs, and other institutions, who will be available to answer your career-related questions. Get a sense of what you can expect when attending the Career Fair and meeting employers:

  • Job postings and applications: Starting on Feb. 17, 2025, visit the APS Job Board to view all job postings online, apply for the jobs, and visit the Career Fair area on-site where you can download all the jobs advertised by using a QR code.
  • Interviews: Employers will independently schedule and conduct private interviews with job seekers. There will be a private interview space in the Career Fair area of the Convention Center.
  • Employer follow-up: If you’re registered for the event, employers will be able to contact you after the Career Fair. Registration will begin on Nov. 25, 2024.

If you wish to attend the scientific sessions, you must register for the APS Global Physics Summit separately.

Career counseling at the career fair

For the first time at the APS Global Physics Summit, a Career Counseling and Resume Help Desk will also be available in the Career Fair area at the Anaheim Convention Center. Due to limited spacing, only persons who have signed up for the Career Fair will be invited to sign up for career counseling.
