Squishy Science Sunday

11:00 am – 3:00 pm, Sunday March 16 Session MAR-EV02 Anaheim Hilton, California C (Ballroom Level)
Topics:

Get hands-on with physics! Join us for Squishy Science Sunday to explore the world of soft and squishy materials with your family, friends, and curious minds of all ages. This free community event features interactive experiments and demos including:

- playing with soap bubbles, gooey liquids, and small robots

- making spaghetti and meatballs out of silly slime

- experience the curious behavior of oobleck and sand

- and much more!

You can also visit our “Talk-to-a-Physicist” tables to chat one-on-one with a working scientist and attend lightning talks on exciting squishy science research and discoveries. All are encouraged to participate in this free event designed to engage the greater Anaheim area community in the squishy physics we love. Squishy Science Sunday is brought to you by the collaboration of American Physical Society units – DBIO, DCOMP, DPOLY, DSOFT, FEd, FOEP, and GSNP – who wish to share the joy and excitement of physics with the community.

In addition to the participating APS units, this event is generously supported by:
