I will present on the decoherence properties of two different yet similar superconducting qubit designs, namely Floquet and Kerr-cat qubits. The two-qubit designs rely on the periodic driving of a non-linear resonator and are celebrated for protection against decoherence through dynamical decoupling. However, their operation and decoherence properties have, in large part, been studied separately. In this presentation, I will discuss the similarities and differences in the decoherence properties as well as the operation of these two-qubit designs.
