Presenter policies

The APS Global Physics Summit 2025 sorters reviewed and placed each abstract in the most suitable sessions. Adjustments to session assignments will not be accommodated to maintain program consistency.

Updates to the abstract content (title, body, and co-author list) will not be accepted.

If requesting a presenter change, the new presenter must be an existing co-author on your abstract and cannot be speaking on another oral contributed abstract. Depending on the time of your request, the new presenter may not be listed in the program. All presenters must be registered for the meeting.

In-person to virtual presentation policy

For those presenters who are no longer able to attend the meeting in Anaheim, APS will do its best to accommodate one of the following scenarios:

Virtual to in-person presentation policy

APS will not accept any virtual to in-person changes. This change must have been made during the initial change period from Monday, Oct. 28 through Thursday, Oct. 31.

Session chair responsibilities

In-person and virtual session chairs play an important role by providing presenter introductions, keeping time, and moderating audience questions.
